I had no idea that when we cress up for Halloween, it was to micmic/appease them.
For those who dont know, micmic means to copy someone/something and appease means to make someone happy or to please someone.
I am extremely exited for Halloween!!!

Masks and costumes were worn by people to scare of the evil spirits.
the reason why bats are associated with Halloween might be that they used to light bonfires at Halloween and the fire could have attracted insects which could have attracted bats.

I didn't know that we celebrate Halloween because it marks the end of harvest and the beginning of the new year (November 1st) I also didn't know that it went from "All Hallows', Day" to "Halloween"

Did you know that Halloween is one of the world's oldest holidays? It was originally a festival called Samhain and bonfires were lit to protect people from ghosts and spirits.
