I lerned that rememberance day is aserimony were people thank the soljers who dide during the war and thank them for sacroficing there lives in the war. we all stop at the 11th hawere and at the 11th day of the 11th month

I learned that Thanksgiving was on the day of November 11 and it was moved to October 12 in 1931.

Before we had remembrance day thanks giving was on November 11th then thanksgiving was changed to October 12th so we could have remembrance day. That goes to show how important remembrance day is!☺

Did you know that the 1st "Remembrance Day" (with the name "Remembrance day) was 1931. From 1923-1931 it was Armistice day.

In case anyone wanted to know, I did further research and "armistice" means an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting for a certain time.
